Traffic Exchange Surf Guide

STEP THREE - Join Up

Log into Traffic Hoopla using FireFox (if you did not create a free account, please go back to step one and follow the instructions to sign up now).

In the left-hand menu, you wil see, "1st - Join These Programs". Click the link.

You wil then be presented with a list of programs to join.

Starting at the top, click the first surfing programs name [1], you will be taken to that website (opens in a new window). Because all the sites are different you may be presented with the sign up page straight away or you may need to actually LOCATE the 'sign up' button. Once you have signed up, check your inbox. You should receive a confirmation email within a few minutes.

NOTE! It is important to make sure you can access your Spam folder, sometimes unrecognized email will go straight into it. So, check that too or you may miss your confimation email!

Once you have the email, click the confirmation link (a few exchanges don't use confirmation emails and will set up your account straight away). Now you're signed up with your first Traffic Exchange! First thing to do is to "bookmark" that site. Go to the sites URL using FireFox and locate the sign-in page, usually this is located in the menu and can be called "Members". Once you are presented with the log-in box, press and hold your left CTRL key and the "D" key. You will be presented with this box:

Click the button next to the 'create in' box and select the 'Traffic Exchanges' folder, then click 'OK'.

Now log in to the Traffic Exchange using your user name and password. Once logged in you need to find your referral ID, this sometimes is the same as your user name, but to make sure locate the referral URL on the site. It could look something like this :

http://www.yoursite.com/referral/id?12345

Now going back to Traffic Hoopla and in the list of Traffic Exchanges to join (2), enter your Program ID into the box next to the Traffic Exchanges name. Then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click 'update', and then 'continue'. You should then be taken back to the list of traffic exchanges to join and your ID will be visible in the box.

Next go back to the Traffic Exchange and find 'surf now' or 'surf', this will open your surfing window (all are different so can't show examples here). Now while in the surfing window do as before hold down the right 'ctrl' key and hit 'D' this again will bring up the bookmark screen. Open the folder list and select the 'Surf URL - Monday' folder.

While still logged into your traffic exchange, find site url's an add your OBA sites you want to advertise. When adding your url's follow the on screen prompts carefully, all systems are different, some sites will need to be verified. Also if there is an option on the site make sure the credits you earn while surfing and automatically added to your url's.

That's the first Traffic Exchange joined. Now go repeat the above steps with the next program on the Traffic Hoopla list. and continue until you have joined TEN.

NOTE: ONLY PLACE FIVE-TEN (I personally do five) SURF URL's IN YOUR DAILY SURFING URL's BOOKMARK FOLDERS!

Once you have done the first ten continue with the next ten Exchanges placing them in 'Surf URL - Tuesday' and repeat the process until you have joined all on the first list. You may not fill all days, don't worry about this.

Once you have finished bookmarking your surfing url's, it's time to move to the next step. One word of advice... log into Traffic Hoopla weekly, the list of programs to join changes weekly! This listed is based on popularity so checking weekly and joining the additions to the list is essential... your site will be seen!
